A perfect start to the weekend when the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office joined the Trumbull County 4H Shooting Sports Pioneer Youth at the Trumbull County Sheriff's shooting range. "Working with the kids, who work so hard and with such pride is certainly an incredible experience," Sheriff Monroe said. The joint team planted 160 arborvitae and white pine trees around the perimeter of the shooting range. The results will be attractive and aid as a sound barrier. "Combining Earth Day, the Sheriff's Office, and the community together, is like a big family," explained Trumbull County Fair Board President Barry Brown. Sheriff Monroe was thankful of the young group of children. "We appreciate all of you who worked so hard today. Know that you have made a difference in our community," the Sheriff added.
