Congresswoman Kaptur unveiled $1.8 Million Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Award
Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur has secured a $1.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the Erie County Health Department. The funding will allocate $375,000 annually over five years to address mental and behavioral health challenges in Northwest Ohio. This grant comes in addition to the $2 million that Rep. Kaptur previously directed towards the construction of a 4,000-square-foot Behavioral Health Transitional Support Housing facility in Erie County.
