Over the past 10 years, Geauga Park District has averaged about 150 gallons of syrup annually, all coming through this hard-working sugar house at Swine Creek Reservation. Experience the building, meet the people behind the process, smell the steam, and get a sample of this year's sweet harvest when you visit Sap's-a-Risin'! the next two Sundays, March 12 and 19, from noon to 4 p.m. Details can be found at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org/activity/special-events-art-show.
