Geauga Public Health has partnered with the Geauga County ADP Team, headed by the Geauga County Auditor's Office and County Auditor Charles Walder, to record the presentation titled, "Well Educated: A deeper Look at Groundwater and Well Maintenance" that will occur tonight.  The recording will be made available to public shortly after the presentation.  A post will be made where to find the presentation once it is available online.

Please note that the in person presentation does a maximum attendance, fire code for the building, and the event is currently sold out with no available seats left.

Thank you to everyone who showed interest in the event and recommended that the meeting be recorded and that the recording be made available to the public.  Administrator Adam Litke and Environmental Health Director Daniel Lark will be at the meeting from Geauga Public Health and available to answer questions from those in attendance.

Below is information from our last post and covers the purpose of the presentation:

Approximately 45 percent of Ohioans and nearly all (98 percent!) of Geauga County residents rely on groundwater wells to provide a constant supply of clean, safe drinking water.

The Geauga Soil & Water Conservation District, Geauga Public Health, Geauga County Department of Water Resources, and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency are collaborating to present "Well Educated: A Deeper Look at Groundwater and Well Maintenance".

This program will feature an overview of groundwater in Geauga County, our role in maintaining water wells, the importance of testing, and helpful resources that are available.
