Curious about these fossils that look like tire tracks? Us too. Several of these fossils fell from the ceiling of a recess cave in the Oak Point area at Lake Hope State Park, revealing the 'tire tread' on the top and bottom. These fossils were created from an ancient tree-like plant called sigillaria.
