State Rep. Steve Demetriou | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Steve Demetriou has announced his new committee assignments for the 136th General Assembly. The representative from Bainbridge Township will serve on several committees, including House Development, Small Business, Technology and Innovation, and Ways and Means. In addition to these roles, Demetriou holds a leadership position as a majority whip.
Demetriou expressed his enthusiasm about the appointments: "I am honored to bring my experience as a husband, father and small business owner to these committees." He emphasized the importance of his roles in advocating for various stakeholders in northeast Ohio. "These roles provide an incredible platform to be a voice for hardworking families, small business owners and property owners across northeast Ohio," he stated. Demetriou is focused on policies that encourage growth, lessen tax burdens, and protect individual rights with the aim of providing opportunities for all Ohioans.
