Ashtabula Area City Schools issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
This is Dr. Kelly Washington, Director of School Improvement with a few announcements.
In observance of Martin Luther King, school not be in session on Monday, January 17th. The district been closed on Monday.
We are definitely concerned about the well being of all of you and our scholars. There is much planning and discussions when decisions are made. It has been decided all of our scholars will be back for in person learning on Tuesday January 18th. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding during these past two weeks. We are all very excited to see our scholars on Tuesday morning.
Finally, the professional development that was scheduled on Tuesday, January 18th for Erie Intermediate and Wednesday, January 19th for Lakeside High School has been canceled. Scholars are to report to their schools where their teachers and principals will be waiting for them.
Thank you for sharing your scholars with us. We look forward to having them back in the building. Wishing each of you a peaceful and blessed evening.
