English Translation: Good evening Ashtabula area families, this is your Superintendent Mark Potts with an important announcement regarding the use of face coverings.
In accordance with revised guidelines from the Center for Disease Control, beginning tomorrow, March 1, 2022, face coverings are no longer required in our district schools or on school buses with a few exceptions.
Please note that the use of face coverings is always an option for all students and staff.
Details about the new masking protocol can be found on our website at www.aacs.net or on the AACS Facebook page.
In collaboration with local health departments, the district will continue to monitor COVID-19 statistics and community spread rates for Ashtabula County. If Ashtabula County is raised to high-risk status, or if there is an outbreak of Covid-19 among students or staff, full face covering use may once again be required.
Thank you for helping us keep our students and staff safe and healthy.
Stay safe and sound and God bless you.
