Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on March 31.
The Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office hosted three days of Continuing Professional Training (CPT) for local law enforcement officers, March 29-31. The training is a requirement for all sworn officers who graduated from an academy in 2021 or earlier. Officers from ACSO, Conneaut Police Department, Jefferson Police Department and North Kingsville Police Department attended the training, which covered topics such as Legal Updates, Use of Force, Building Trust and Mutual Respect, Responding to Mental Health, and Responding to Sexual Assaults and Domestic Violence.
