Area police and fire departments came together to compete in a softball game for charity; Team Police played for The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project while Team Fire played for Disabled American Veterans. The proceeds of the match would go to the charity of the winning team!
Team Police pulled off the victory at the end of a very close match with a final score of 17-16! Over $1,000 was raised for these two very worthy organizations. Check out the video of Sheriff Monroe's game winning base hit!
