A big Congratulations to Tuscarawas Valley Local School District Spelling Bee CHAMPION | Rawpixel
Today finished up the final day of Crisis intervention team training. A full week's course that focused on many types of mental illness, symptoms of Crisis, hospitalization, PTSD, de-escalation techniques, etc. Today's agenda was carried out at Kent State Tuscarawas where all trainees had to engage in a mock scenario that was broadcast to the rest of the class and then be critiqued over their actions. I want to thank the entire C.I.T. committee for their months of hard work to coordinate another very successful training. A special thank you to Jail division re-entry coordinator Jenna Kanter-Mesa Vasquez who leads this coordination effort through her time, organizational skills and commitment to serving those who struggle with mental illness and addiction and helping many reach a much brighter future.
